MauMusic turns one!

MauMusic the only full service musical instrument, print music and accessory store in the Hills area has turned one! On Saturday the 4th of November MauMusic held a street party featuring local artists from local schools. "Shrapnel" a guitar based rock band from Mitchelton High played and "Tetrah" a string quartet from Ferny Grove High performed throughout the day. Performances by the St Andrews Primary School Senior Band and Choir kept the crowd entertained. The Grovely Scout troop will be cooking a sausage sizzle throughout the day raising money for 6 of their group to attend the 2007 Jamboree, the scouts raised nearly $200 from the days event. In this economic time it is a great achievement for a small business to survive the first month let alone their first year and with the support of the community MauMusic is going from strength to strength. Our suppliers have also come to the party. We gave away a Studio19 flute worth $649 to an member of the adult concert band "No String Attached" Look out for 2008!
